Dinner with Strangers

Dinner with Strangers is a collaborative event series developed by the Ferguson Center Student Union in the Fall of 2012 to provide students at The University of Alabama with a unique opportunity to explore issues relevant to their own college experience by engaging in honest conversation with prominent members of the Tuscaloosa community. The dinners are intended to be casual, yet provocative — creating a space where students and community members alike can voice their opinions openly. The process is designed to be transformative for those involved and lead to more evolved collaboration between University and community entities in the Tuscaloosa area.
